Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Tin Caps Date Night

We started our date night downtown at Pint and Slice. A tiny little place that has AWesoMe pizza (and a great selection of adult beverages as well)! I had the White Album....ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, and pizza blend cheeses with a white sauce and a Woodchuck...YuM! It was so good. Brian had....can anyone guess....pepperoni....boring.....along with some Mad Anthony brews. They had a great selection of pizzas and next time we are going to try their calzones as we have heard those are great as well.
Can't wait to go back!

Then we headed off to Parkview Field to watch the Tin Caps! Wow...what an amazing place! They did a great job planning this place and had tons to do for all ages! They had a lawn to sit on, a homerun porch, tons of picnic areas, a place to watch the players take BP, a kids area, and lots of great food choices!

I couldn't pass the opportunity to make Brian line up along the fence beside this picture!

View from the lawn in center field.

I loved the skyline view! It started off great with the blue sky and white clouds and got even better as night settled in with the lights turning on. We have never seen downtown so busy. I think this will end up being a great thing for the City of Fort Wayne!
