Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

And She's Off!

Yep, you guessed it.....Stella is now crawling! Isn't it just too early for this? I still kind of like the idea of her sitting contently in my lap and cuddling...I guess those days are nearly over, but we also love the idea of entering a whole new chapter of her life. It seems she gets more and more fun every day!

Poor Irish, Poor Baby, Poor Bears....What a Weekend!

What a beautiful weekend! I love this weather/season! Football is in full swing. Although, sadly ND couldn't pull off a victory this weekend. Stella sported her new shirt her Aunt Micki and Uncle Jeff got her at Notre Dame. She looked so cute in it (I'm probably not bias, right?)! We watched the game at Dustin and Emily's...so much fun!! She even got to stay up way past her bedtime! She provided quite the entertainment for the night....I think she was deliriously tired. She was talking up a storm at the end of the Irish game....we almost had to turn up the TV! Then we enjoyed a campfire with Dustin's neighbors for awhile. They have a little dog that was running around and she thought it was hilarious! She was laughing so hard when it would get close...too funny!

Then on Sunday, she just wasn't feeling herself. You could tell she was super tired and maybe her ear was still bothering her. She just wanted to cuddle....I love when she wants to cuddle, but daddy took over. His Sundays used to be filled with football and watching pregame announcers on Sunday morning...however this weekend his Sunday morning was filled with Stella laying on his stomach watching Baby Einstein until it was time for her nap. Then she woke up happy and ready for the day!

She was feeling much better and more energized after her morning nap. She was so excited for the Bears to play! What a smart little girl :)

Labor Day Weekend

I love three day weekends. I love having some time to spend with our families, and then the last day to spend with the three of us :) It is a nice end to the weekend before going back to work.

However, Stella began to develop her first cold/cough this weekend...poor thing :(

We started off Saturday afternoon by doing family pictures with the Butcher's at Headwater's park with Amy Sprunger. I can't wait to see the pictures! Hopefully we got some good shots of all us together. I also had her take some of the three of us in our Irish jerseys!

After the pictures everyone had places to go and more things to do! We headed to a Labor Day party where we got to see friends and Stella got to see her friends as well! She enjoyed a little time with Londyn and Jencee. It was a great evening for a party!

On Sunday we enjoyed another Labor Day event with the Ringger's. We were able to take some pictures of all the grandkids and show what monkeys they all are :)

Stella went on her first lawn mower ride where Grandpa taught her how to chase down her cousin, Eli, as he drove the Gator.

The three of us were also able to get some relaxing done...on the hammock, by the bonfire, and then at home on Monday. What a fun weekend!
