Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Getting Quicker...

We made a trip home this weekend, and Stella wouldn't roll over for her grandparents! So I had to prove to them that she could do it! It now takes a lot less prompting from me....and surprisingly she continued to roll over in this video from front to back! That was a first!! Good job Stella Dee!

Just Look Up Above

I know everyone has been keeping Stella in their prayers, and thank you very much. We have her echo today and we will get the results on Monday's doctor's appointment. So we have to wait over the weekend....ugh. We continually remind each other that God has a plan and it is 100% out of our hands and into His. She (and we) could us some extra prayers this weekend.....thank you in advance!

Growing Up Too Quickly

Once Stella figured out how to roll over...everything changes! She loves sitting up and looking at the world from a different perspective. She rolls over all day long....and surprisingly doesn't mind tummy time when she gets there....for awhile anyway.

She has also changed her sleeping positions. She is all over that crib! We put her in the middle and find her somewhere different each morning....at the bottom, top, turned completely sideways, and now on her side!

And lastly, she is beginning to enjoy her Bumpo. She likes to look around and look at things. She does pretty good with her head, but after a few minutes she gets tired and it starts to wobble a little bit....good neck exercise!

Rolling Over...

Fun Filled Weekend

We headed to Cincinnati this weekend for my cousin's graduation party and what a perfect weekend! The weather was HOT and the kids loved the pool! We also celebrated Caden's 5th birthday with a party! Happy Birthday Caden!

Carlie loved Chad and Kelly's pool...she is becoming quite the fish! Here is a picture of her running and jumping off the diving board into the pool! Way to go!

Eli LOVED his goggles....there was hardly a moment where he wasn't readjusting them. Perfect fit, don't you think??

It was also Father's Day on Sunday. This is a picture outside our hotel.....Daddy loving his little girl...

Is time to learn how to drive yet???

Caden also tried some surfing while he was in the pool....

Lucy and I hanging out by the pool :)

Design on a Dime

Isn't funny how one new purchase for your home can make you total rearrange and redecorate? First of all, mom.....your job title should be professional craigslister....I told her want I wanted and got 3 emails a day until we found the perfect one! I wanted a corner hutch for my dining room. It had to be a smaller one, because it isn't the largest room by any means. So to make a long story short, Dad and I made a trip to Huntington to pick this one up while mom watched Stella. We moved it in, and I begin rearranging everything! I knew what I wanted in it, but then after getting it in I decided to move other things. I needed things to put on top which of course then lead to a rearrangement of the places I took those from. It was fun, and I have a new hutch and much more storage! It helped me clear out an entire cabinet in my kitchen...woohoo!

Lou Holtz

Tuesday evening Brian and I got to invited to the Grand Wayne Center for an event that was so much fun. It was a fund raiser event for the Women's Care Center and Lou Holtz was the guest speaker. He was so much fun to listen to. He was very humorous and entertaining along with being very motivational. He focused a lot on attitude and how our attitude sets us up for success or failure. We have to constantly pick ourselves up and keep recovering. He intertwined personal stories, made up stories, and ended with his football predictions for this year. He says the Irish have a great coaching staff and wouldn't be surprised to see them go 11-1 this year....I will take it! Looking forward to one fun year!
