Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Our Little Flower Girl

Getting some curls!!
Having fun and acting silly with Amanda

Busy day at Salon Vera Joley...it was also prom day. She loved watching the big girls get curls too :)

Although the headpiece was very pretty, it wasn't her favorite part of being flower girl....

Such a pretty flower girl!

A family picture...minus our little one. By this time, she was DONE with pictures....way past nap time and we all knew it :)

Easter Weekend

We had a great 3 day weekend....I loved that we both had Friday off and got to spend some great time as a family this weekend! Stella and I made some Peep Smores to hand out to her friends at daycare. She is so not the messy type, nor does she love sweets, but she did eat a smore. She liked it but HATED the mess....not at all fond of the sticky mouth and hands....

We started off Friday with spending the evening with Brian's family. We had yummy steaks (first time grilling this season, and it was great!) and lots of laughs. Stella got some yummy candy in her basket along with some fun toys as well, and Violet got some goodies as well.....and so did we!

Then on Saturday we got to spend the day with some of my family and some of the Everett's. It turned out to be a beautiful day so the little ones could have a blast outside: coloring Easter eggs, egg hunt, bouncy house, paddle boat, fishing, 4 wheeler rides, golf cart rides,....geesh, no wonder Stella, Violet, and I crashed by 7:00 on the way home....we were all worn out!

And finally Easter morning. We couldn't manage to get both of them still for a picture....they couldn't keep their hands out of their baskets! I loved seeing their excitement. Violet loved her pink bunny all day and Stella read and reread her new Bible Stories a hundred times!
