Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Bug Jar

Today at the babysitter's house they each made a little bug jar for this spring. It is so cute and she LOVES it! Right now she just loves picking flowers and putting in it. But hopefully we will find some bugs to add to it as well! She and her cousin, Caden, will definitely have to go bug hunting next time they are together!!

Happy Easter!

Our Easter celebration started last weekend with the Engle family Easter where of course we ate more than enough great food and had a great time. This weekend, the weather turned out much better than predicted...woohoo! We painted some eggs instead of coloring them this year and it was a lot of fun!

She loved it although Millie wasn't sure what to think in the background....

She loved her Easter basket. She instantly put on her Elmo pajamas, opened the eggs filled with candy, and used her new plate to enjoy a snack.

Easter Sunday afternoon we ventured out to the zoo for the first time this year. The weather was perfect and I can't wait to go back. We didn't get around to see everything, but with our zoo pass this year I am sure we will see everything more than once! She loved the turtles....in fact at the end of the day she said it was her favorite animal.

We walked into the orangutan exhibit just in time. This HUGE orangutan was putting on quite a show right in front of the glass.

Lines were short and the weather was mild, so we took advantage of it and went on a pony ride. She picked a pony and jumped right on. Half way through the circle she was, "All done." But she stuck it out and finished out the two laps.

We can't wait to go back, there is so much to do! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Five Little Monkeys

Lately Stella has been really into singing more and more songs....of course we are probably the only ones who can understand her, but I love it! It seems like she knows a new one every day!! This is a little version of Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed....enjoy!

Fun Times

Over my spring break Stella and I visited the library and checked out some new books. She loved this Thomas the Train book and had us read it to her several times a night. I love the way she crawled up next to Brian to read this book. She looks so grown up.

We have been having several tea parties. She loves to line up all her babies on the stairs and make sure each has a cup and/or cookie.

Grandpa Ringger released the minnows into his pond and we had to be there to watch it. Cousin Eli helped Stella by giving her a fish and Stella wasn't scared one bit. She held it and then continued to help Eli grab them and throw them in the pond. I think we have a little fishergirl on our hands!

Aunt Emily got crafty on us and came prepared with an Easter egg project. The kids loved it and Grandma Ringger's kitchen will forever be sparkled!

Stella rocking with her cousin Carlie. She loves her cousins so much :)

The nice weather is here and the time for flip flops is here as well....one can't wear flip flops without a little polish on her toes :)
