Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Happy St. Pat's Day to Us!

There isn't a better way for a self proclaimed Irish family to celebrate St. Pat's Day...we brought home our little girl for the first time! I have always celebrated St. Pat's day with a big bang...but this topped every celebration. Brian was practically climbing the walls in the hospital this morning. He couldn't wait to put her in the car seat and take her home.

We didn't have a St. Pat's day outfit bought because we hadn't planned on spending a week in the hospital. However, one of my students bought her an Irish bib...so we thought it was appropriate to take a picture of that!

Brian also enjoyed his first diaper change (at home)....trust me...he did plenty in the hospital :) Although the second diaper change resulted in him taking off the diaper...then I heard, "Ugh....she's peeing!" Good thing it wasn't a little boy! I wish I would have caught that one on camera!

After eating she is usually a pretty content baby. It was great getting to lay beside her....no tubes, needles, and monitors attached....and just talk and sing to her.

So, so, so, so cute. That are the words of Carlie who is standing right here by me. We can't wait until the quarantine is lifted we can kiss her to our hearts content. I love the pictures with her eyes open...can't tell who she looks like though...
