This is our second week of "baby classes" and they are going great. We have learned so much and it has really helped really prepare both us a little bit more about what to expect....which really isn't too exciting to know about. Basically....long hours, very tired, and lots of pain.....sounds great! Sign me up for that!
After the first night I asked Brian what he thought and he said, "Wow...I learned and saw a lot more than I ever did in health class." The movies were quite graphic, but at the same time I think he got a much better idea of what he was in for!
This week we talked about pain options and the stages of labor. Ugh. Good news...Dupont has an anesthesiologist at the hospital in the OB wing 24 hours a day. So they aren't on call or anything. Bad news...labor will probably take forever! But I am sure it will be so very worth is, otherwise people wouldn't have more than one kid, right?

Happy belated Birthday Gin!!
Oh Gin...get the epidural. Take it from your big sister!! Jeff and I compared the birth classes to watching yourself being in an accident (that's going to hurt - a lot) and there is nothing you can do to stop it! God does help you forget ... I promise!
