Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Adams County 4-H Fair

I cannot remember the last time I have been to a 4-H fair....but tonight we made a last minute decision to head to Adams County to the fair and parade. Not too much has changed....lots of people, lots of kids, long lines to eat, smelly animals, hot weather, loooonnnnggg parade, and lots of candy! Thanks to Stella's expert candy snatching hands, we got to enjoy a little candy on the way home :)

She kept saying "hop, hop".....

She wanted to touch one right up until it let out a big "baaaaaaa..."

Remembering Micki's story of being charged by a goat, we found some resting goats to get close to :)

What's going on in there?

Yay! Parade time.....!!

We got to enjoy the parade with our friends Eric and Rachael and their boys Cameron and Wesley....so cute :)

The parade lasted a llloooonnnggg time....she was ready for bed.

Finally....getting cozy.

Pond Party

We traveled home for a wedding this weekend, and decided to head home a few hours early to hang out at the pond for awhile....it was just so hot. Stella got to hang out Millie, Caden, and Eli. They are all growing up too quickly! Millie surprised us and showed off her crawling skills! She is such a good baby....and always so full of smiles! As you can see below even when she flips the baby doll stroller on top of herself, she still manages to give a little smile :)

Millie and Eli posing for a great picture....

Dad got out the very famous slide....

Water Bug

Stella loves water. Since we've had a lack of rain lately, we were out watering tonight. Stella loved it. She was within 12 inches of the hose at all times. I would shoot it into the air like a sprinkler and she would run through it and laugh. During Brian and I's water fight with each other Stella ended up getting the worst of it when I turned and the hose drenched her. Cry? No way, she laughed and came back for more! What a fun, unplanned night :)

Birthday Party

All of our babies are turning one this year and we have had so much fun celebrating with them! We've had Wesley, Stella, Londyn, and now finally Jencee. Stella showed absolutely no interest in her birthday cake, and even actually cried! However, Jencee dove right in....it was so fun to see her attack it and watch cake fly everywhere!

Another Catch Up Post...

Geesh....I get so far behind so quickly! We have been incredibly busy lately....and are just kind of tired....both physically and emotionally. We are hoping July is much more relaxed and normal!! Below is a picture I took awhile ago and just found on the computer. Stella is hanging out with her little cousin Millie....getting ready to go for a ride!!

Stella just taking it easy and enjoying a drink and a little sunshine :)

Bubbles, anyone?

It just looked like a fun spot to take a picture downtown Fort Wayne...

Just another one of her crazy foot pictures....I have no idea what she loves having her feet up, but she does!

Getting ready for the big sprinklers!

New Pool!

With the weather warming up we decided Stella needed a little pool to play in...and she loved it! We spent at least an hour outside in the pool, out of the pool, going down the slide, and so much more! She also was able to sport her new big girl pig tails! They make her look so grown up!

The Zoo

Stella enjoyed her first trip to the zoo today with some of her cousins, Aunt Micki, and Grandma Ringger. We weren't sure about the weather at first, but it ended up being a great day....not too hot, no rain, and overcast. Carlie and Lucy were so excited about everything, and Carlie was like our personal tour guide! She knew where to go and lots of information about the park and animals.

On our way to the zoo in our big girl car seat!!

Grandma posing with her little girls :)

Pretty interested in the the sea lions getting fed and doing some tricks.

Hanging out in the kangaroo pouch :)

We ended our day with some Dairy Queen and then Stella and I headed home for OUR naps while the rest of the crew hit up the petting zoo, where I heard Micki had a run in with the goats! Can't wait to hear about that one!!

Catch Up Time!

So I have gotten a little behind on our postings....so this might be a long one!!

We have successfully turned Stella into a dipper! She loves to dip whatever she is eating: pasta in marinara sauce, waffles in syrup, etc....I love it because as everyone knows we love to dip!!

We couldn't find Stella for a brief moment....only to find her hanging out on the bottom step just swinging her legs. She had to have those shoes on even though they are a bit too small....oh well, whatever makes her happy!

We were going to see a movie Friday night, but then changed our minds. Mom and Dad told us there was a good band playing at Jefferson Point, so we took a last minute trip over there. We ate at Qdoba's (our new favorite place) and hung out while we listened to the Junk Yard Band play. The place was packed and we had a lot of fun!

We traveled to Decatur last week to watch Brian play softball. We haven't got to many of his games this year, and we had a lot of fun. Stella was everywhere! Going to his games sure have changed! It was fun to see all our friends' little girls together....I can't believe how many girls we have between our group of friends!!

Above: Jencee, Londyn, Sofia, Emma, Stella, and Alyssa

Who doesn't love to play in a little rain? We just started cooking out, when of course it started to rain. Rather than pull everything inside we decided to just enjoy the light sprinkle and have some fun!!

We ended our weekend with a last minute trip to the Tin Caps game! It turned out to be a better day than we thought, so we took advantage of it and got some lawn seats. Brian's dad met us at the game as well as Tyler and Crystal....what a fun day! Stella spent most of the game propped up behind Tyler....she had a ball.

Pond Day

Stella enjoyed her day at the pond on Saturday with her cousins. She loved the golf cart, corn hole boards, and watermelon. What a perfect summer day!
