Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Day Three...

All the oxygen tubes have been removed and Stella is doing very well breathing on her own. Her lungs were still cloudy, so they are going to continue the antibiotics. She has two days down and five to go.

She still has a feeding tube, but they (Ginger & Stella) are planning on nursing this afternoon for the first time. She is up to 15ml of milk.
Mom is doing very well today. She is full of energy and excitement. She wants to roam the halls and whatever else she can do – that’ll get her out of bed. I keep trying to get her to relax, mainly so I can. We found out this morning that we can stay until Saturday night, so that was a very good way to start the day. I'm sure with mom feeling better and baby nursing, we'll be spending more time in the NICU.

We'll keep you posted on any updates as long as one of us can still keep our eyes open!

Brian, Ginger, & Stella
