Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Day Five

It seems like it's been forever since our last update, but it's only been two days. Time passes by so fast, when you're getting up every three hours to nurse. We've been very thank for all your prayers.
Stella has been doing great. She startings to get her nights and days mixed up. During the day feedings, it's a battle to keep her awake but at nights, she is wide awake and just looks around. She had her feeding tube removed yesterday morning. It was awesome to see her without tubes on her face.

Mom and I were treated to a three course celebration meal. It was great! We had Caesar salads, fillet mignon with fried shrimp (yum), twice baked potatoes, broccoli with cheese, and a cake with sparkling grape juice.

And last but not least....I am starting to open my eyes more often!! This picture is after a feeding...very happy and content!
