Sometimes I want to blog or email something....and have nothing to blog about. Hmm. What to do. I feel like one of my students when I tell them to write about whatever they want. It should be easy, right? Well sometimes it isn't. So then I tell them to go back to their writers notebook, a magazine, or whatever and look for an idea. So that is what I did. I came across some stuff that has great topics for writers/bloggers to think and write about. I think it will be interesting and fun to write about some new things. Feel free to post your thoughts on the prompt as well!
Think about:
You come across a homeless person on the street. Do you give him/her money? Why or why not?
My response: Hmm...well it really depends on the situation. When I go to a Reds game or when we went to the Braves game there were homeless people everywhere. I would have been handing out money left and right. Not sure what I would do if I came across a homeless person here in Fort Wayne.

In downtown Ft Wayne (especially in the mornings) there are an many homeless people. I often times buy them coffee/doughnut and I have often been prompted to ask them if I could pray for them. Having taken that step yet, but God is laying that one on my heart. Not an easy step...good blog!
I guess I would have never imagined there would be a lot of homeless people in Fort Wayne. I don't know why...I guess I have never been downtown in the morning. Definitely not an easy thing to ask someone...but doesn't God have a way of being persistent and not letting the idea out of your head and heart!?! Thanks for the comment!
