Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
Benjamin Franklin

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

We went home this weekend for Stella's first Easter. It was lots of fun and very busy. Above is our first family photo. It was such a pretty weekend!

We started our weekend on Saturday and spend the afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa Butcher's house where Stella got her first Easter basket filled with goodies! She loves her book, bunny, candy, and even got her first cross necklace to wear someday when she gets a little older! She met Uncle Jared for the first time and he got her some goodies as well. Pictures will be posted when she can wear her outfit this summer! We got pizza from the new restaurant in Monroe, The Brickhouse, and wow....it was GoOd!! It reminded me of Uno's pizza and I love Uno's pizza! I am so happy because Uno's is no longer in Fort Wayne, but now I know where I can go! Then Stella showed her grandparents how well her little lungs work....they got to see her scream for the first time. Everyone didn't believe us that she could get mad! However, it was nice have Grandma Butcher there to deal with the meltdown while we got to enjoy our dinner :)

Then we proceeded to Grandma and Grandpa Ringger's house on Sunday where she joined her cousins in the Easter celebration. She got an Easter basket filled with goodies again! I think this little girl has it made between her two sets of grandparents! Above you can see Carlie, Caden, Lucy, Eli, and Stella surrounded by their Easter goodies!

And who could forget the Easter egg hunt? The kids were waiting by the door in anticipation of it soon opening! Brian was going to hunt in place of Stella, but it was decided that he would have a slight advantage over the competition!

By Sunday afternoon, we were wiped! We headed home and proceeded to put Stella to bed where she proceeded to throw another fit! She was exhausted! It was a long weekend for a little one. She crashed and slept great...as did we!

I remember those long weekends with the girls! Lucy got overstimulated so easy, that it took a day or two to get back to schedule. You got quite a sweetie on your hands, and lots of people who love her - including me!
